The site is located at the heart of the old city and at the extremity of a city block in an historical urban grid. The basic feature is the centuries old urban planning features with patios at the center of each half-block and this very specific identity is inserted within the project and therefore many small patios are planned in the overall design. This more or less organic configuration insures quality natural light and natural ventilation to all levels, all corners and all rooms & suites of the hotel. The top floor restaurant will be under a glass dome in harmonious continuity with the main façade, its light steel structure slowly disappearing in the mist of glass and sky. This building may become a new "landmark" in the environment that has been declared a part of The World Heritage by UNESCO.
